Gina Gioia

Gina Gioia, Ph.D in Civil Procedural Law from the University of Roma La Sapienza, is currently Professor of Civil Procedural Law at the University of Tuscia since 2013. She previously taught Labour Procedural Law and Remedies Available to Weak Parties. She took part in a Marie Curie Project on suretyship at the Centre for European Law and Politics, ZERP (Zentrum für Europäische Rechtspolitik, ZERP), University of Bremen, Germany and spent also two years at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin as Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung fellow. She has published many articles and essays on Civil Procedural Law and Private Law subjects in addition to one monograph on Jurisdiction.
